UPSEE 2013 Eligibility Criteria

The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses you can apply through UPSEE 2013 is given below.
Courses
B. Tech.
- Physics and mathematics (compulsory subjects)
- Any one of the following: Chemistry, bio-technology, computer science, biology or a technical vocational subject
B.Tech. (Bio-Technology)
- Physics and mathematics, or biology (compulsory subjects)
- Any one of the following: Chemistry, bio-technology, computer science, biology or a technical vocational subject
B. Arch.
- Mathematics and physics (compulsory subjects)
- Any one of the following: Chemistry, computer science, biology, engineering drawing, or a technical vocational subject
B.Pharm.
- Physics and chemistry (compulsory subjects)
- Any one of the following: Mathematics, bio-technology, biology or a technical vocational subject
B.Tech. (Agriculture Engg.)
- Agriculture discipline
BHMCT/BFAD
- Any discipline
Eligibility criteria
Eligibility for the first year of courses is listed below:
- B.Tech./B. Pharm.: Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination of the U.P. Board, 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university. A minimum of 45 percent (40 percent for SC/ST) marks in the total of required subject combination (two compulsory and one optional) and minimum 40 percent (35 percent for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes) marks in each compulsory and optional subject are necessary.
- BHMCT or BFAD: Candidates must have passed the intermediate examination of the U.P. Board, 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university, securing minimum 45 percent (40 percent for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.
- B.Arch.: A candidate must have passed the intermediate examination of the U.P. Board, 10+ 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized board/university; securing (i) minimum 50 percent marks in aggregate and (ii) minimum 40 percent (35 percent for SC/ST) marks in each compulsory and optional subject. A candidate possessing a three-year Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by the central/state government, is also eligible for admission to the first year of B.Arch. only, provided the candidate has passed the diploma examination with a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for the first year of the B.Arch. Paper.
- All candidates who are eligible for the admission in B.Tech. courses are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering).
MBA/MCA/MAM:
- Candidates should have passed a bachelor's degree courses of at least three years from a recognized Indian university or equivalent with at least 50 percent minimum aggregate marks (45 for SC/ST).
- Mathematics passed at the 10+2 or graduate level.
