Shobhit University
The Shobhit Institute of Engineering & Technology (SIET) in Meerut has been granted the deemed-to-be university status since 2006 and is popularly known as the Shobhit University, Meerut. It has also entered into several MouUs with international universities and institutes such as University of Westminster London, Deakin University Melbourne Australia, University of Lyon France, University of Hamburg Germany & more.
Its campus is on the Delhi-Meerut-Dehradun National Highway (NH-58) and has state-of-the-art laborataries for each subject, lecture theatres, internet & wi-fi facilities, library, boys and girls hostels, cafeteria, squash court, fitness centre/ gym, TT room, badminton courts & many other sports facilities.
An ISO 9001:2008 certified university, it is recognized by the UGC and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Its Pharmacy programs are recognized by the PCI, ayurveda program by the Ministry of AYUSH, Central Council of Indian Medicine, law programs by the BCI, and its education programs by the NCTE.
