The Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT, Noida) is a deemed university and has two campuses - one at Noida sector 62 and the other at Noida sector 128. It was established in 2001 and was declared a "deemed to be university" by the UGC in 2004. It has been ranked 61st out of 850 engineering colleges in India by the Edu Rand 2014 Engineering College Rankings.

The university has more than 5000 students and 250 faculty members. It has hostel facilities for more than 2500 students. Both the campuses have excellent infrastructure, consisting of smart buildings with wi-fi connectivity. The sector 62 campus has 3 girls' hostels and 2 boys' hostel while the sector-128 campus has 1 boys' hostel. There are multiple lecture theatres, classrooms, laboratories, libraries and conference rooms in both the campuses.
