AMU Engineering Entrance 2015
AMU Engineering Entrance Examination (AMU EEE) is conducted by Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) for the purpose of admission into different Under Graduate (UG) engineering degree programs offered at Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Aligarh Muslim University.
The Faculty of Engineering & Technology is also known as Zakir Husain College of Engineering & Technology. It was founded on 21st November, 1938. The department is named after a great scholar of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and the former President of India, Dr. Zakir Husain.
AMU is one of the largest and well known Universities and has a Central University status. It has 13 faculties offering courses in a number of disciplines, out of which the faculty of Engg. & Tech. is the largest.
The department offers a number of programs in varied engineering disciplines as Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.). The duration of the B.Tech. Program is 4 years (8 semesters) and B. Arch. Programme is 5 years (10 semesters).

Exam pattern
3 hour objective type paper, 150 marks, 150 questions on Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.
Eligibility
You can apply for B.Tech if you have secured at least 50% in English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (PCM) in your class 12th (senior secondary school certificate) exams with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Have a diploma in engineering from AMU scoring at least 50% marks.
Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch.)
Entrance exam (AMU EEE 2015): 17 May, 2015; 10 am (paper 1); 3 pm (paper 2)

Online, with a test fee of Rs.600.

Exam pattern
Paper 1 (same as for B.Tech candidates): 3 hour objective type paper, 150 marks, 150 questions on Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics.
Paper 2: Architecture aptitude test of 3 hours consisting of drawing test and descriptive questions.

* The total admissions including those of NRI candidates and others shall not exceed 60.
Exam results
The results for the engineering entrance exam of AMU are declared within a month of the exam. AMU EEE 2015 for B.Tech was held on 17 May, 2015.
