UPSEE 2013 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern of Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam (UPSEE) for admission to Gautam Buddh Technical University and (GBTU) affiliated colleges is given below.

UPSEE 2013 Exam pattern

  • The UPSEE will be conducted for eight papers with objective type questions except for the Drawing Aptitude Test.
  • You must choose a paper(s) and subject in order to appear for the exam.
  • Objective type questions have four marks for each correct response.
  • More than one answer marked will be scored as incorrect.
  • Answers are to be marked using ball point pen (black/blue) only.
  • All objective type questions are required to be answered on OMR answer sheets.
  • There is no negative marking in this test.
  • All questions are (except Paper 4) are in both Hindi and English. Paper 4 is offered in either Hindi or English.
  • Only standard English numerals should be used on the test.

Papers in UPSEE 2013

Exam for undergraduate courses, 21 April, 2013

Paper 1: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

  • Physics, chemistry and mathematics
  • 50 objective types questions for each subject, 150 total questions
  • 600 marks

Paper 2: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

  • Physics, chemistry and biology
  • 50 objective type questions for each subject, 150 total questions
  • 600 marks

Paper 3: 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

  • AG-I, AG-II and AG-III
  • 50 objective type questions for each subjects, 150 total questions
  • 600 marks

Paper 4: 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

  • Aptitude Test for Architecture: Part A, Mathematics and Aesthetic Sensitivity; Part B, Drawing Aptitude
  • 50 objective type questions for each subject in Part A, two questions for Part B
  • 500 marks

Paper 5: 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Aptitude Test for General Awareness (BHMCT, BFAD)
  • 75 objective type questions
  • 300 marks

Paper 6/7/8: 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

  • Aptitude test for engineering diploma holders/aptitude test for pharmacy diploma holders/aptitude test for engineering B.Sc. graduates
  • 75 objective type questions
  • 300 marks

Exam for postgraduate courses, 20 and 27 April, 2013

Paper 9

  • Aptitude test for MBA
  • 100 objective type questions
  • 400 marks

Paper 10

  • Aptitude test for MCA
  • 100 objective type questions
  • 400 marks

Paper 11

  • Aptitude test for MAM
  • 100 objective types questions
  • 400 marks
