Admission Scenario in Indian Veterinary Research Institute

Candidates seeking admission into Masters Degree programs of IVRI Izatnagar would require appearing in Entrance Test conducted nationwide by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Candidates seeking admission into M.V.Sc. program under sponsored category may apply to IVRI Izatnagar directly.

The written test and interview for admission to PhD program conducted in the last week of June and second week of August, respectively. Since sponsored candidate (M.V.Sc. / Ph.D.) are exempted from appearing in written test, their interview administered simultaneously in the second week of August at IVRI, Izatnagar.

Foreign students shall route application for admission through their respective Embassies at New Delhi or through their respective Indian Missions abroad to the Government of India/Deputy Director General (Education) ICAR, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi for consideration of their eligibility for admission, etc.
