Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University was established in 1996 as a central university by an Act of Parliament, 1994. The university offers Post- Graduation and involves in research activities with the main objective of providing advanced professional studies, interdisciplinary studies, and research and development activities.

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University came into existence with a view to introducing a centre of academic excellence contributing to the growth of the higher education relevant for the development of Indian Society.

The University pays special attention to the promotion of educational and economic attributes of the people of India in general and marginalized people in particular.
