Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology (CSAU), which is also known as Kanpur Agriculture University, was established in 1975. The University was created with the merger of the erstwhile Government Agriculture College, Kanpur and UP College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Mathura. The University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
