UPTU Eligibility Criteria

The Subject Combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different Courses is given below:-

 BHMCT / BFAD

• For admission to first year of B. Tech. / B. Pharm., candidate must have passed intermediateexamination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing (i) minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in total of required subject –combination (two compulsory & one optional) and (ii) minimum 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in each compulsory and optional subject.

• For admission to first year of BHMCT/BFAD, candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing minimum 45% (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate.

• For admission to first year of B. Arch., a candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U. P. Board or 10 + 2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University; securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate and (ii) minimum 40% (35% for SC/ST) marks in each compulsory and optional subject.

• A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central / StateGovt., is also eligible for admission to first year of B. Arch. only, provided the candidate has passed the Diploma examination securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate, Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of B. Arch. Paper.

• All candidates who are eligible for the admission in B.Tech. courses are also eligible for B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering).

UPTU Domicile Requirement

• Candidate willing to write UPSEE has to fulfill any one of the following mentioned domicile requirement. These requirement and restrictions are in accordance with the Gazette of Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, India

• Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination from an institution / school / college located within the state of Uttar Pradesh and who do not claim any sort of reservation.

• Reserved category candidates (SC / ST / OBC etc) who claims reservation and passed qualifying examination from a school / college located in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

• Candidates who have passed qualifying examination from a school / college located outside UP and whose parents or guardians are domicile of Uttar Pradesh.

• Children of armed personnel’s and all India services employees belonging to UP cadre are eligible for admission even if they originally belongs to a state other than UP.
